Able Real Estate Services, Inc. was formed in 1987 by John and Joanne Greer, as a property management company for low-income and subsidized apartment communities.
In the 1990's, when the Department of Housing and Urban Development created the Tenant Rentals Assistance Certification System (TRACS) to automate manual procedures being used in the affordable housing industry, John and Joanne discovered a real need in the industry for small property managment and housing authorities that did not have the resources to conform to the new auto-submission requirements, and ARES began offering TRACS procesing and submision services.
In addition to these services, ARES also offers training, continuing education, CA voucher processing subcontracting, and property management.
Located in Ft. Collins, CO, ARES is now owned and operated by John and Joanne's daughter, Anna, and her husband Mike.
